YURIKOCH

Yuri Koch is a Brazilian guitarist, singer/songwriter, and music professor who transits between Jazz, Rock, and Brazilian Music.

In 2017 he was awarded a full scholarship based on the academic performance to study abroad from January to June of 2018. He went to study at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts-USA to study Music in the Jazz Studies program and after that, he backs to Brazil and graduated at Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina in Brazil.

While in the USA he was fortunate to play with the Jazz Band and Combo Quintet of Bridgewater State University directed by the pianist Vlad Milenkovic.

Currently, he works on different kinds of projects playing as a sideman with different artists, as a studio musician, private guitar instructor, and is working on his album for this year in Trio format.
